Cap d’Espoir beach (14 km from the village of Percé towards Chandler) is popular with visitors and locals, without ever being crowded. This beach is easily accessible from Route 132 and has certain seasonal services (picnic tables and public toilets). There is no lifeguard service. Caution is always in order. The average maximum water temperature (around 16 degrees Celsius) is usually reached around mid-July and August.
