The UNESCO Global Geopark in Percé (Summer – Autumn)

In 2018, Percé joined the prestigious list of UNESCO Global Geoparks, an international recognition that highlights the exceptional geological qualities of the area. The very first Quebec’s Geopark offers original and unique activities.

Among the activities offered:

. TEKTONIK, a multimedia experience that brings you on a fabulous virtual journey through 500 million years of geological history (opening May 29, 2022).

. An indoor playground for children inspired by the seabed : closed for 2022 season (due to the Covid-19); 23 exceptional geological sites. . Many spectacular lookouts along the 18 kilometers of walking trails in the heart of the mont Ste-Anne and the mont Blanc (guided hikes are available).

A glass platform suspended at an altitude of 200 meters (Opening May 30, 2022)

. The shuttle to the platform will be in operation May 30, 2022 (mask required).

Until end of August, Tim Adams, member of the Micmac community of Gespeg, will be at the glass bottom platform every Friday afternoon between 1:00 and 5:00 pm. Afterwards, Tim Adams will be in front of the welcome pavilion of the Percé Geopark to speak about tales and legends around a campfire at 7:00 pm, before the outdoor projection of the legend of Gluskap at 9:00 pm.

. A 300 meters long zip line (opening June 16, 2022).

. An outdoor night projection, The Legend of Gluskap ; and many more activities (Opening May 29, 2022).

Campground and ready-to-camp tents are available on the site (Opening May 29, 2022).

The UNESCO Global Geopark in Percé offer a variety of Winter.
