Rivière Émeraude Municipal Park

The Emerald River Park is a natural site located along the Portage River, there is a waterfall that flows into a magnificent natural pool with emerald green water. This is an unsupervised body of water. This site is located in the Bridgeville sector (12 km from the village of Percé towards Gaspé).

Access: From Route 132 East in Coin-du-Banc, take Chemin de la Carrière (1) you must drive for about 4 km to reach the toll booth and the parking lot. From the parking lot you have to walk about 900m on a trail (2) rather uneven to access the staircase (with 140 steps) leading to the site of the fall. This site is not accessible for people with reduced mobility and / or in wheelchairs.

(1) The Chemin de la Carrière is partially asphalted and is used by trucks making round trips to the rock quarry, caution is required!

(2) Sections of trail have been modified, the ground can be muddy and slippery, wear appropriate footwear. Sandals  flip flop, crocs… are not recommended.

NEW IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO ACCESS THE SITE:

This site is open year-round from 9 am to 5 pm.  

No reservation possible.

Fees for 2024 from June to mid-October.:
– 13 years and older: $12 (taxes included). Children under 13 years old free.
– Family of 7 people or less in the same vehicle (a parent or a couple of parents with their children) $30 (taxes included)
– Group (15 people and more) : $8,50 (taxes included)

 

Access fees payable at the reception booth on site only (debit & credit card).

Dry toilets near the site, picnic table in the parking lot.
